The Space Zone student winner is…

Rosie, congratulations! During every event we ask the engineers and moderators to nominate their top student — one who’s made the most of the event, shown enthusiasm and asked some really great questions. Rosie from Merton Park Primary School was nominated by engineers because they “had clearly read the engineers profiles and was looking for further info from a conversation in the live chats.” Their questions in ASK included “Why do you want more girls in stem?” and “What is the best part of your job?” As the student winner, Rosie will receive a certificate and a gift voucher. Well done to Rosie, and to everyone who took part. There were so many interesting questions, and comments, but there could only be one winner in each zone. PS: YOU now have the power to say which scientists and engineers take part next time — click here to be the judge.

Thank you from your winner – K-Jo!

Students! Did you do your profile survey? Check your email for a chance to win a £20 voucher and tell us what you think now! Hey everyone! Thank you so much for everything! This experience has seriously been so remarkable! I have learnt so much from all the students and other engineers and I’ve loved answering everyone’s questions. This experience has really helped me show that everyone can be inspiring in their own ways and that anything is possible! I couldn’t believe when I was asked to join the competition and I really didn’t think I would win because all the engineers have been remarkable and were all so experienced compared to me! This has been a brilliant accomplishment for me, being 17, thanks to the votes of the students! But by just being myself, I got to help all the students, even make friends and win for charity! All … Continue reading
