Propulsion and Systems Engineeer
I work for a company called Deep Space Industries. We are a small company who’ve been building engines for spacecrafts for a few years now. We’re planning on building our own spacecraft soon to send us to asteroids.
Silly, hardworking and enthusiastic about the future of space travel
Hey everyone! I’m an international space nerd. I grew up in a few European countries and ended up getting my Masters in Space Systems Engineering from the University of Southampton in the sunny south of England. I moved to America last year to work as a space propulsion engineer at an asteroid mining company. In my spare time I like to climb trees and game with my friends.
I'm a space propulsionn engineer!
My work is designing and building rocket engines which will our own future asteroid mining spacecrafts and those of many others who are exploring our solar system.
My Typical Day
Blowing things up (safely) and playing with spacecrafts systems
I usually spend my mornings doing design work for new systems, in the afternoon I get to work in the lab doing some hands on assembly or testing of our current flight systems. In the evening, if I’m lucky, I get to test fire our main engine which is a lot of fun.
What I'd do with the money
I would like to give the money to Southampton Universities Spaceflight Society who visit schools to demonstrate some of the fun things that can be done with space science.
