In all honesty, the answer use to be yes! But not anymore, all engineering is starting to open up and there is now loads of women who are popping up around the industry everywhere! The main problem is that there isn’t enough women interested! Like last year, when people were signing up for apprenticeships, it was all mainly men. There was very few women who were showing up for these opportunities. So in conclusion, I would say that if you work in a huge engineering sight with a vary of young and older people, there will still be a slight struggle with woman in engineering in their work placements, but most places are all so new now and open minded that the whole old mindset is gone! We just need to bring more women in to the opportunities!
