      That is a good question! It took me a while to understand this myself. Satellites move in constant orbit and follow a particular path. Each one has its own route, and by working out every satellites current location we can predict (with a bit of maths) which areas of the planet will not be covered by any satellites. The good thing is, my software does all the maths for me 🙂 I just need to enter the location that I want to know the availability of
