Well I chose dance, music and resistant materials as my GCSE choices. For my apprenticeship I needed 5 C’s to A*’s in maths, physics, english, an engineering subject and a subject of choice. So resistant materials was my engineering subject:D

As long as you have Maths Science and English at A – C you should be fine, of course any added related subjects or even a hobby related to engineer will help you, but is not essential.

I didn’t do GCSE’s (I grew up in Ireland). I still managed to get into University in England though so don’t stress too much over your choices. Do what you love.
