      I started working after I got my degree, so my CV didn’t even list my GCSE’s, however, some companies do look at your GCSE’s but it’s more to check that you are telling the truth about who you are.

      I definitely needed my GCSEs to do my A levels, my A levels to do my degree, and my degree to get my job! It’s a long process but it all works to something in the end 🙂

      I chose to do this job because it’s using exactly the skills I know I’m experienced in and really want to challenge myself to learn more. So lots of big data processing, developing intelligent analysis with code and crunching numbers from many different types of satellites 😀

      Well to do my apprenticeship I needed 5 C’s to A*’s in maths, physics, english, an engineering subject ( resistant materials, design ) and a subject of choice, but I got my apprenticeship before I even got my GCSE results. My company were looking for someone who was passionate and determined for the apprenticeship. Like they say, they can teach you theory work and experience but they can’t teach you your personality:D I chose this job because it sounded amazing and I thought it would be brilliant to make space technology:D

      I didn’t do GCSEs so I think you do’t need them to do this job! Though I did do the Irish equivalent (Junior Cert) which was helpful for getting a base level understanding of concepts that became very important to me in the future. I chose this job because it excites me and it makes me feel useful on a very big scale.
