      My course is a four year apprenticeship. The first two years are like a higher end B-Tech where I do further maths, further mechanical principles, electronics and practical experiences such as machining ( lathes and mills ) and soldering. Then the next two years are a HNC ( which is like a lower University degree ), which is the main precision engineering course. And then if my company think I am a hard worker, they may pay for me to go to University:D
